I majored in Art History at the Faculty of Geography and History of the University of Barcelona, and later, also earned a degree in Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. I then received my Masters in Paint Technology from the Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Physics and Chemistry of the University of Barcelona, and last, my PhD in Art History from the University of Barcelona.

I have always combined teaching, painting, sculpture and writing. I began in 1993 with a teaching fellowship, and later continued as an associate lecturer in the Art History Department of the Faculty of Geography and History at the University of Barcelona, where I created and developed Spain's first practical class workshop to teach an Artistic Techniques course, which became a model of reference for other Spanish universities. Later, I taught Traditional Animation Drawing Techniques, Computer-assisted Illustration and Stone and Wood Carving at the Pau Gargallo School of Art and Design in Badalona. I worked as Head of the Metal Workshop in the Department of Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. Following this period, I moved on to become an adjunct professor for the first Occupational Workshop on Environmental Sculpture of Spain through the Technical University of Catalonia Foundation, the Ministry of Labor of the Autonomous Government of Catalonia and the European Social Fund. This led to my role as Professor of Drawing and Visual Perception in the Product Design Degree Program at the Vic School of Art and Design.

My artistic work was selected to participate in the semester of free plastic art projects organized by professor David Evison at the Universität der Künste Berlin, and I received a number of awards, among them the international City of Borriana (Valencia) Outdoor Sculpture Award (Escultura al Aire Libre Ciudad de Borriana), and the Award for new Techniques for Creative Projects of the Joan and Pilar Miró Foundation and Sotheby's (Majorca). My writing was recognized with the Espais Art Criticism Award and I was appointed to advise artists of the ACEA (Catalan Association of Artistic Entities). After this, I was admitted to the ACCA (Catalan Association of Art Critics) and into the AICA (Association Internationale des Critiques d'Art).

For some years now I have been on the faculty of the Massana School, affiliated with the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where I have taught Drawing. I am also an associate professor in the Drawing Unit of the Department of Conservation and Restoration Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. I have been invited to participate in the corrections of projects by students of the Hochschule Regensburg and to give a workshop from the Hochschule Düsseldorf.
