Abstract
Bòlit, Centre d’Art Contemporani. Girona, presents the annual Bòlit mentor program with the goal of strengthening interaction between contemporary creation and society.
The idea is to invite artists to carry out workshops in secondary schools. One of the objectives is to encourage younger students to look upon art with interest and respect. The result of the experience and the artistic results jointly obtained are later the basis for an exhibition. The last edition of the project sought to serve as a modest wake-up call to art professors who have given in to the system. The Art of Leaping was the name of the exhibition showing the results of the experience, bringing young students to an art centre for the first time.
